It is noted that the Chinese Embassy recommends that applicants first select the university and study program in which they wish to enrol with a State Scholarship from the People's Republic of China. After obtaining an acceptance letter from the university, they can include it in their scholarship application.

Note that, in addition to the aforementioned government scholarships, there are additional scholarships for studies in China (e.g., Chinese Local Government Scholarships, scholarships from Chinese universities, enterprises, etc.) published on the above page. Interested individuals can apply directly for these scholarships.

Please carefully read the instructions before applying for the scholarship.
Step 1: Visit “CSC Study in China” website and click “Scholarship Application for Students” at http://www.campuschina.org/. Register an account through [CREATE AN ACCOUNT] and login with your account.
Step 2: Input Personal Details. Click “Edit Personal Details” and finish inputting personal details by filling in all the information, verifying and saving the information. After the completion of this section, return to the previous page by clicking “Finish” and start filling in your application information.
Step 3: Select the correct “Program Category”. Please select Program Category “Type A”.
Step 4: Input the correct Agency Number. Your Agency Number is: 1961. Program Category and Agency Number are directly matched, both are mandatory for online application.
After inputting the agency number, the matched agency name will automatically show on the page. As the Program Category and Agency Number are directly matched, application processing authorities will not receive your online application if the program category or agency number are not correct.
Step 5: Input Application Information. Next, please move on to the section of “Language Proficiency and Study Plan” and upload “Supporting Documents” as requested, then click “Submit” to complete the application. Check each part of your application carefully before submission. Please make sure that all the information and uploaded documents are valid and accurate.
When applicants of “Type A” application choose the “Preferences of Institutes”, system will automatically match the available universities according to the selected “Student Category, Preferred teaching language”. With any inquiry concerning the available majors of each university, please visit the following website: http://www.campuschina.org/universities/index.html
“Catalogue of Discipline Field, First-level Discipline, Specialty” is available from the “Help”, applicants could download the file to identify the relation between Discipline and Major.
Step 6: Once submitted, the amendment cannot be made to “Personal Details” and “Application Information”. Before the application being processed by the processing authorities, applicant can revoke the submitted application by clicking “Withdraw” and edit the application. After revoking the application, applicant must submit at second time after re-editing, or the application will not be processed. Once the application is processed, application cannot be revoked.
Step 7: Click” Print the Application Form” and download the form.
Step 8: Submit scholarship application under the requirements of the dispatching authorities (or application processing agency)
China Scholarship Council never entrust any individual or intermediary agent to process Chinese government scholarship applications. Kindly remind that all applicants to directly submit your scholarship applications through official dispatching authorities, avoiding being deceived. The website below is the only official website that China Scholarship Council Publishing Study in China information, please do not trust information from any other portals or sources.

We invite all our students and staff to participate in a Dance Masterclass organized by the EU-CONEXUS Alliance.
Conexus Dance is a collaborative dance project which aims to create synergy and connection between the nine European Universities participating in the EU-CONEXUS Alliance.
Through the masterclass, each University participants will transform words into movements which will be recorded as part of a video where all movements will be included. Join the project and be part of the EU-CONEXUS community.
The project is supervised by dancer and choreographer Jennifer Macavinta who is travelling to Cyprus to present the masterclass.
During the all-day masterclass, bites and beverages will be offered to all participants.
When: February 22nd, 10:00-16:00
Where: Movement Lab, Limassol campus (Free transportation for students from the Nicosia Campus will be available)

Το Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick και το Συμβούλιο Νεολαίας Κύπρου (ΣυΝΚ) διοργανώνουν βιωματικό εργαστήριο με τίτλο «Έξυπνα οικονομικά για νεαρά μυαλά!», το οποίο στοχεύει στην ενδυνάμωση των βασικών δεξιοτήτων διαχείρισης των προσωπικών οικονομικών των νέων, εστιάζοντας σε πρακτικές στρατηγικές για αποταμίευση, επίλυση οικονομικών προβλημάτων και ιεράρχηση δαπανών.
Το εργαστήριο διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου "Youth Ski(ll)ing to Future", που στοχεύει στην ανάπτυξη των δεξιοτήτων ζωής των νέων και στη βελτίωση απασχολησιμότητάς τους, με βάση τις ανάγκες της αγοράς εργασίας.
Οι συμμετέχοντες/ουσες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να κατανοήσουν τη σημασία της αποταμίευσης και της ιεράρχησης των προσωπικών τους εξόδων. Επιπλέον, θα μάθουν αποτελεσματικές στρατηγικές αποταμίευσης, εργαλεία και τεχνικές για αποτελεσματική επίλυση οικονομικών προβλημάτων, πώς να δημιουργήσουν τον προσωπικό τους προϋπολογισμό καθώς και κάποιες βασικές επενδυτικές έννοιες κατάλληλες για τους/τις νέους/νέες.
Το εργαστήριο είναι ανοιχτό τόσο στην πανεπιστημιακή μας κοινότητα όσο και στο ευρύτερο κοινό και απευθύνεται σε άτομα 16-30 ετών. Θα δοθούν πιστοποιητικά συμμετοχής.

Το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα στις Διαπολιτισμικές Σπουδές και την Ελληνική ως 2η/Ξένη Γλώσσα, διοργανώνει διαδικτυακό εργαστήριο με θέμα «Το γνωστικό αντικείμενο της Δημιουργικής Γραφής. Εκπαιδευτικές προοπτικές και συγγραφικές προκλήσεις».
Το εργαστήριο θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη, 13 Φεβρουαρίου στις 18:00-20:00 και θα το παρουσιάσει ο Τριαντάφυλλος Η. Κωτόπουλος, Καθηγητής Δημιουργικής Γραφής και Νεοελληνικής Λογοτεχνίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας.
Το εργαστήριο απευθύνεται σε φοιτητές και φοιτήτριες, εκπαιδευτικούς και κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο/η για τα θέματα της Δημιουργικής Γραφής που, ως γνωστικό αντικείμενο, έχει καθιερωθεί πλέον στον ακαδημαϊκό χώρο, ενώ η διδακτική της αξιοποίηση στη διδασκαλία της Γλώσσας, της Λογοτεχνίας, της Ιστορίας και πολλών μαθημάτων των Θετικών Επιστημών στην Πρωτοβάθμια και Δευτεροβάθμια Εκπαίδευση, αποδεικνύει τη δυναμική της.
Ειδικά στο πλαίσιο της διδασκαλίας της ελληνικής ως 2ης/ξένης γλώσσας, οι τεχνικές δημιουργικής γραφής αποτελούν σημαντικό εργαλείο καθώς εξοικειώνουν τόσο τους μαθητές/τριες όσο και ενήλικες στην παραγωγή συνεχούς λόγου.
Παράλληλα, με τη δημιουργική γραφή ως εργαλείο μάθησης, καλλιεργούνται κοινωνικές δεξιότητες όπως η συνεργασία, η δημιουργικότητα, η ενσυναίσθηση, η προσωπική και κοινωνική υπευθυνότητα αλλά και συγκεκριμένες γλωσσικές δεξιότητες, όπως ορίζονται στο Κοινό Eυρωπαϊκό Πλαίσιο Γλωσσικής Αναφοράς. Το πλαίσιο αυτό διαθέτει αναφορές στις οποίες τονίζεται η σημασία της αισθητικής και παιγνιώδους χρήσης της γλώσσας, ενώ γίνεται αναφορά και στη Δημιουργική Γραφή.
Ο Κωτόπουλος Η. Τριαντάφυλλος είναι Καθηγητής Δημιουργικής Γραφής και Νεοελληνικής Λογοτεχνίας (Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας), Διευθυντής και Επιστημονικά Υπεύθυνος Μεταπτυχιακών Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών Δημιουργικής Γραφής. Έχει εκδώσει εννέα (9) επιστημονικά συγγράμματα και συγγράψει περισσότερα από 150 άρθρα σε συλλογικούς τόμους, ελληνικά και ξένα επιστημονικά περιοδικά και πρακτικά διεθνών συνεδρίων. Διευθύνει το Εργαστήριο Αγωγής για το βιβλίο και τον πολιτισμό «Βιβλιολογείον» του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας και εποπτεύει τη συγγραφή των Νέων Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών του μαθήματος της Λογοτεχνίας στο Λύκειο (2021). Είναι μέλος πολιτιστικών φορέων και διεθνών εταιρειών, υπεύθυνος του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας στο Διεθνές Δίκτυο Memità: “Memory, Identity, Integration to Identify Analysis Models in Media Communication”, είναι ποιητής και πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Βραβείων Ποίησης «Jean Moréas», υπεύθυνος για την έκδοση του ηλεκτρονικού περιοδικού ΛΕΞΗtanil, ενώ αρθρογραφεί συστηματικά.

Continuing students at Frederick University's conventional programs of study need to register for the Spring 2024 semester and their Spring 2024 courses.
Course registration for continuing students will take place from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th February 2024.
Classes for Spring 2024 begin on Monday, February 12, 2024. Do not forget to always refer to the Academic Calendar found here.
Here you can find detailed instructions on how to complete your registration for Spring 2024 in the following four steps:
Step 1: Settle your tuition fees and activate the Semester.
Step 2: Meet with your Academic Advisor and register for courses.
Step 3: Confirm your semester courses in Extranet and view your timetable.
Step 4: Access your courses and course content in the learning platform.

Εγγραφές φοιτητών/τριών στο εαρινό εξάμηνο 2024 (δια ζώσης σπουδές)
Οι εγγραφές στα μαθήματα του Εαρινού εξαμήνου 2024 για όσους/όσες φοιτητές/τριες (συμβατικών προγραμμάτων σπουδών) συνεχίζουν τις σπουδές τους στο Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick, θα πραγματοποιούνται από την Τρίτη, 06 Φεβρουαρίου μέχρι και την Παρασκευή, 9 Φεβρουαρίου, σύμφωνα με το πρόγραμμα εγγραφών που βρίσκεται στο πιο κάτω έντυπο.
Η πρώτη μέρα μαθημάτων για το Εαρινό Eξάμηνο 2024 είναι η Δευτέρα, 12 Φεβρουαρίου, 2024. Εδώ μπορείτε να ανατρέξετε στο Ακαδημαϊκό Ημερολόγιο του εξαμήνου.
Εδώ (έντυπο) βρίσκονται όλες οι λεπτομέρειες για τα πιο κάτω βήματα που πρέπει να ακολουθήσετε για την εγγραφή σας στο εξάμηνο και σε μαθήματα, όπως επίσης και το πρόγραμμα συναντήσεων με τους/τις Ακαδημαϊκούς/ές σας Συμβούλους.
Βήμα 1ο: Καταβολή διδάκτρων και ενεργοποίηση σε εξάμηνο.
Βήμα 2ο: Συνάντηση με Ακαδημαϊκό/ή Σύμβουλο για δήλωση μαθημάτων.
Βήμα 3ο: Αποδοχή των μαθημάτων στην extranet και πρόσβαση στο ωρολόγιο πρόγραμμα.
Βήμα 4ο: Πρόσβαση στο περιεχόμενο και εκπαιδευτικό υλικό των μαθημάτων σας στην πλατφόρμα μάθησης (learn).
