Delis has a Masters in Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. On graduating he joined the New York office of Skidmore Owings & Merrill working on large scale civic and infrastructure projects. He subsequently joined the office of Peter Marino Architects in New York as senior designer on high end retail projects, as well as concept, material and prototype development for high end retail product display. In 2005 he established his own practice in Cyprus working on various residential & retail, ground up & refurbishment projects as architect & interior designer. He has participated in several architecture competitions winning First Price in both large scale urban design and small scale installation projects. In 2008 Delis became a faculty member at Frederick University in Nicosia teaching Design Studio at the Department of Architecture. Since 2015, as an extension of his academic research, Delis became a member and co-founder of the group XSsummerworkshop, organizing and running workshops for Architecture students in rural communities around Cyprus. A series of his drawings became the focus of a solo exhibition in 2013, titled Hyperlandscapes, curated by Savvas Christodoulides and a group exhibition in 2015, titled PaperTrails PaperTales, curated by Melita Couta and Chiaki Kamikawa.
