Course Contents | - The meaning, types and characteristics of research (educational research) - Methodological approaches to educational research - The research process- definition of a research problem - Literature Review and stages of conducting one. Basic skills of studying literature. The use of references - Research Questions and formulation of research hypotheses. Definition of research variables and the development of a conceptual framework. - Population and Sampling- sampling procedures, power analysis - Methods of data collection (survey, interview, observation, test) - Validity and Reliability of measures - Statistical analysis of data (descriptive and inferential statistics) - Presentation and interpretation of results-Research Evaluation - Ethics in educational research - Stages of writing a research report | ||||||||
