Learning Outcomes of the course unitBy the end of the course, the students should be able to:
  1. Reproduce knowledge in every aspect of the process of publication of all print- based media.
  2. Organise and edit texts and images for the purpose of publication.
  3. Analyse the attributes of the way of presenting news in the different kinds of print-based media and being able to participate actively in their designing process.
  4. Design layout and organise news in a print based medium.
  5. Compose (for publication purposes) texts and assignments from other modules.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The taught part of course is delivered to the students by means of lectures, conducted with the help of computer presentations. Lecture notes and presentations are available through the web for students to use in combination with the textbooks.
