Energy Technologies

Qualification Requirements

The Program is based on the ECTS credit accumulation mode of study, it requires a Master Thesis, and it offers two specializations. The two specializations are:

  • Energy Technologies
  • Energy Design of Buildings

Students can be awarded the Master of Science Degree in Energy Systems and the Built Environment upon completion of 90 credits. From these credits, 54 are allocated for mandatory courses and 12 for technical elective courses. The remaining 24 credits are devoted to research and the thesis preparation. Each specialization requires a different set of mandatory and technical elective courses. The successful graduate is expected to defend his Master thesis, in an oral presentation, before a three member committee that consists of his thesis advisor and two additional faculty members.
