Department of Pharmacy
The mission of the Department of Pharmacy is to ensure the provision of high level education and research, preparing future graduates as independent professional pharmacists, experts in the science of drugs and qualified for employment in pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, health care centers, research centers, the pharmaceutical and the cosmetic industry. The Department’s dynamic programme of study offers students a strong academic background and practical training, which enables them to become specialists in the area of pharmacy and pharmacy research, thus contributing towards health improvement and enhancement of the quality of life.

Department of Nursing
The scope of the Department of Nursing is to offer to our students the highest level possible of academic education, training and skills and to promote the Nursing discipline and ethics of the profession. Through a contemporary method of approach and a scientifically sound structured programme of study, the Department aims at covering painstakingly the scientific background, ethical principles and all other professional needs of the Nurse, as these are constantly being shaped by the current advances in the developed World and the recent productive and developmental activities of the country of Cyprus. Special emphasis is being placed on the scientific method of study and analytical thinking as well as on the application of the gained knowledge in the practice of the Nursing profession in general. In addition, special emphasis is given on the provision of all resources required, so that nurses are able to follow and apply the rapid developments in the discipline of Nursing.
