Dr. Aikaterini Meresi

Short CV

Aikaterini Meresi is an architect, graduate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has received an MSc in Environmental Design of Buildings (Cardiff University, UK) and a PhD in Daylight in Buildings (AUTh). She is currently a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Frederick University, teaching in the Diploma of Architect Engineer program. She has practiced architecture in the private and public sector and has taught Bioclimatic Design of Buildings at Hellenic Open University and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has participated in several architectural competitions and has published numerous research papers in conference proceedings and scientific journals. Her current research focuses on the exploitation of daylight as well as the energy and environmental retrofitting of buildings.
