Mr. Julios Vasiliou is a special teaching staff in the School of Engineering of Frederick University since 2007. He teaches in undergraduates programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received BEng and MSc in Automotive Engineering, from Hertfordshire University (UK) in 2002 and 2003 respectively. Mr. Vasiliou was an instructor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Frederick Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2007 and worked in vehicle workshops in Cyprus and the United Kingdom. In 2016, Mr. Vasiliou was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Frederick Institute of Technology and acts as the course Supervisor of the Diploma of Automotive Technician. He is a licensed Vehicle technician in the specializations of Vehicle general repairs, Vehicle electrical repairs, Vehicle body repairs and Vehicle air-conditioning repairs. He is also an assessor in the vehicle repair sector of the qualifications system of the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA) on vehicle general repairs, vehicle air conditioning, vehicle control systems, vehicle instrumentation and vehicle electrics.
