Mr Angelopoulos Konstantinos is a member of Special Teaching Staff at the Department of Nursing at Frederick University. He graduated from the Faculty of Nursing at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received his master diploma from the same faculty in 2010, in the scientific domain of “Clinical Nursing: Oncology Nursing and Palliative Care”. The main topic of his thesis was the nursing support of cancer patients with bone marrow suppression, where a general nursing care plan is proposed, depending on each nursing diagnosis. It is based on Nurse’s Pocket Guide: Diagnoses,Prioritized Interventions and Rationales,Edition 11 by Doenges,Moorhouse and Murr, in which nursing diagnoses are classified in 13 diagnostic categories and the classification model NOC/NIC (Nursing Outcomes and Interventions) is used. From 2008-2010 he worked as a clinical tutor at the faculty of Nursing at NKUA, in the courses of Basic Nursing,Nursing Care Systems and Medical Nursing. At the same time he worked as a nurse at Heamatology Clinic and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit at GHA LAIKO. In 2010 he worked as an hourly employee teacher at EPAS School Institution in Athens, teaching courses such as First-Aid Care, Anatomy, Internal Medicine and Basic Nursing. From 2012 until now he works as a nurse at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center. In 2018 he started his cooperation with Frederick University,where he assumes supporting teaching duties in the undergraduate course of Oncology and Palliative Nursing.
