Η Ελπίδα Μιχαήλ είναι υποψήφια διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστημίου Birmingham UK, στον τομέα της Φυσικής Aγωγής και του αθλητισμού. Επίσης, κατέχει μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα την Αθλητική Φυσιολογία Πανεπιστημίου Liverpool John Moores University UK, και πτυχίο Φυσικής Αγωγής και Αθλητισμού του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Διετέλεσε πρωταθλήτρια Κύπρου στην Ενόργανη Γυμναστική και μέλος της εθνικής ομάδας για πολλά χρόνια με πολύ σημαντικές επιτυχίες στο ενεργητικό μου. Της έχει απονεμηθεί ο τίτλος της "Αθλήτριας της Χρονιάς" στην Ενόργανη Γυμναστική από το 1998 μέχρι το 2004. Εδώ και χρόνια είναι προπονήτρια Ενόργανης Γυμναστικής σε επίπεδο πρωταθλητισμού αλλά και μαζικού αθλητισμού, και ταυτοχρόνως χορογράφος. Παράλληλα είναι διεθνής κριτής Ενόργανης Γυμναστικής εκπροσωπώντας την Κύπρο σε αγώνες στο εξωτερικό μέσω της Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας Γυμναστικής και του Κυπριακού Οργανισμού Αθλητισμού.

Elpida Michael is a PhD candidate in Sports and Exercise Sciences from the University of Birmingham, UK. Additionally she has a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology (Liverpool John Moores University UK), and a BSc degree in Physical Education and Sport Sciences from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has been a champion of Cyprus in Artistic Gymnastics and a member of the national team for many years with very important achievements. She was awarded the title of the "Athlete of the Year" in Artistic Gymnastics from 1998 to 2004. For several years she has been coaching Artistic Gymnastics at a professional level, as well as choreography. At the same time, she is an International Artistic Gymnastics Judge, representing Cyprus in several national and international competitions provided by the Cyprus Gymnastics Federation and the Cyprus Sports Organization.
