Dr Anastasia Constantelou is Visiting Associate Professor at Frederick University and an Associate Professor of Innovation Management at the University of the Aegean, Department of Financial and Management Engineering. She is a graduate of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and holds a Master's degree in Technology and Innovation Management and a PhD in Science and Technology Policy Studies from the University of Sussex, UK. Prior to her academic appointment, she served as a consultant to the OECD Science, Technology and Industry Directorate. Prior to her appointment at the University of the Aegean, Dr Constantelou was a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics (LIEE), and the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCP), both at the National Technical University of Athens. Dr Constantelou has significant research experience as a contributor or leader in national and European research projects. During the period 2015-2017 she participated in the Horizon 2020 CREA Research Project (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/644988) leading the research group of the University of the Aegean. The CREA Project aimed at organizing training courses, mentoring activities and an incubation program for startup companies that would be able to use ICTs and Creativity to propose new business model with a European vision. Her current research interests focus on: • Public Sector Reform and Innovation. • Entrepreneurship, Creativity and ICTs: Designing policies and training practices to support innovation in the creative industries. • Organizational learning and dynamic capabilities in public sector organisations in the context of Smart Specialization Strategy. Dr Constantelou has been a founding member of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit of the University of the Aegean and has successfully organised 4 successive Summer Schools on Youth Entrepreneurship and an international summer school for Technology-Inspired Ventures in the Creative and Cultural Industries, in the context of the CREA Project.
