Dr Chrysoula Magafa following a teaching career in mainstream and special schools in the UK and Greece, Chrysoula started her academic career in Higher Education in 2017 teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with a focus on Primary Education Studies, Early Years, Educational Leadership and Special Educational Needs. She supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students’ dissertations in the wider field of education and childhood studies. Chrysoula has extensive experience in online teaching and supporting university students in distance learning UG and PG courses. She received her Ph.D. in Autism and Educational Technology from Coventry University, UK and her MEd in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs with Distinction from the University of Birmingham, UK. She has a keen interest in conducting school-based research investigating the potential of interactive technologies in learning and children’s development. Currently she is a Collaborative Academic Staff in the Department of Education, at Frederick University.
