Frederick University hosted a workshop on November 20, titled "Acoustic Sensors and Biodiversity: An Innovative Approach to Monitoring Birdlife". The workshop was held in the framework of the BIOMON research project, which is coordinated by the University.

Members of our academic and research staff participated in the EU-CONEXUS Research Conference on "Aquatic and Coastal Ecosystems: Challenges and Opportunities towards Sustainable Development", which took place in Rostock, Germany. 

On November 15, representatives from all 9 EU-CONEXUS partner Universities, together with stakeholders and associated partners and EU governing bodies, gathered for the EU-CONEXUS Wrap-up Conference. Members of our community participated in the event.

Frederick Research Center (FRC) is advancing in the development of software and technological tools for effective plant evaluation, contributing to mitigating the impacts of climate change on Cypriot agriculture.

Frederick University warmly congratulates Dr. Alexis Polycarpou, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Informatics, for his election to the IET's international CRC Committee (Communities Resource Committee).
