Antonis Michael is an Associate Professor of structural and materials engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering. His research work includes concrete confinement using fiber reinforced polymers (FRP), repair/strengthening of concrete and timber structures using FRPs, experimental methods, structural testing, and materials characterization. Dr Michael teaches both in undergraduate and graduate programs of study in the School of Engineering and particularly in the Civil Engineering Department in the areas of structural analysis and structural design, construction materials and construction methods.
