Course ContentsThis module describes a number of analytical tools that can be used to determine the environmental and energy performance of buildings, products and organizations. This module aims to describe the value and role of environmental impact assessment tools in project planning, list the principle elements of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) process, promote the use of tools with sample project to identify and assess the adverse environmental impacts and propose mitigation measures to prevent, reduce, and compensate for the impacts, as well as to describe several tools that are used for energy environmental assessments of buildings.
