Course Contents | Website basic attributes: Describe the basic attributes of a website and their purpose. Usability and Ergonomics and Web Standards: Analyse and study the web standards and the usability issues of a website. Introduction to Dreamweaver application: Describe the characteristics of the programme. Introduce the process of saving the finds related to the website. Dreamweaver interface: Understand the basic attributes of the programme. Tables: their purpose and their importance. Developing a website: Set the root folder and create index.html page. Designing the first page: Insert tables and layers in index page. Design the structure of the web page. Adding elements on a web page: Insert text and images in the table cells and layers. Internal and external links: Create the rest pages and linking them in order to create a website. | ||||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods | During laboratory sessions, students learn how to use the software Dreamweaver in order to create websites suitable for publishing their articles. Students are asked to develop their own website from scratch using the design platform of Dreamweaver. | ||||||
