  1. Describe basic theoretical approaches in social welfare (e.g. social welfare, need, welfare rights, social state).
  2. Describe the social welfare historical development in Cyprus and in Europe.
  3. Explain the importance of social welfare in the confrontation of social problems, the cover of social needs and the continuous development of the quality of life.
  4. Describe the placements and organisations of social welfare state in Cyprus.
  5. Describe social welfare interventions for various groups of people.
