Course Details

1. By the end of the course, the students should be able to:
2. Recognize human resources issues that are raised in an organisation.
3. Recognize specific abilities and skills that are required for each employee in an organization.
4. Recognize staff’s educational needs, according to organisation’s aims and directions.
5. Set evaluation criteria for each professionals employed in an organization and also implement/conduct their annual evaluation / appraisal.
6. Be aware of issues related to employees such as social benefits, work place hygiene, accident prevention and workplace relationships
7. Choose the appropriate interventions for possible problems that could be raised in workplace.
8. Be aware of specific elements that are related to social workers’ supervision in an organization.
9. Understand, adopt and implement specific skills and intervention techniques in work team/s in an organization.

- Human resources management in an organization and staff administration.

- Staff evaluation and methods of evaluation.

- Identifying education needs for different groups of professionals

- Interventions in various problems/obstacles raised in workplace, both in personal and group level

- Social workers’ supervision and methods of supervision

- Abilities and techniques required for social workers in order to adopt a managerial position.

The course will be delivered through lectures.
