Course Contents | Introduction to Sociology. Knowledge and understanding of basic sociological concepts. Knowledge of the founders of Sociology and their principle ideas. Basic sociological theories. The historical forms of social cohabitation. The national state and the national conscience. Nationalism, Chauvinism, Racism and the need for peaceful co-existence and equal treatment for all. The appearance and development of Sociology in Health Care. The influence of social environment on the improvement of health standards and on dealing with disease. The phenomenon of social strata and classification. Differences and inequalities in Health Standards. | ||||||||||
