Course Contents | During Clinical Practice I, students practice in nursing procedures and techniques learned in the courses Introduction to Nursing and Basic Nursing I, such as: Applying techniques for assessing health Taking nursing history Taking vital signs Hand Hygiene Preparation of material for sterilization Use sterile equipment Technical use of sterile gloves Positions of patient in bed Hygiene of bedridden patient Medication Preparation and participation in diagnostic tests Prevention and care of pressure ulcers Assessment and care planning for patients with common health problems Preoperative patient preparation Postoperative care of patient Wound care Giving oxygen Feeding a patient | ||||
