| Learning Outcomes of the course unit | By the end of the course, the students should be able to:- Describe the clinical features, how to investigate and the general principles of therapy of the common haematological diseases.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of the biology of cancer, how to diagnose a malignancy, the clinical features and the general principles of cancer therapy.
- Explain principles and basic mechanisms of infection and infectious disease, how to approach a patient with a suspected infection and the general principles of antimicrobial chemotherapy.
- Describe the clinical features, how to investigate and the general principles of therapy of the common neurological diseases.
- Apply the appropriate skills related to how to investigate and the general principles of therapy of the common renal diseases.
- Describe the clinical features, how to investigate and the general principles of therapy of the common gastrointestinal, liver, biliary tract and pancreatic diseases.
