| Learning Outcomes of the course unit | By the end of the course, the students should be able to:- Judge patient’s needs for nursing care and participate in planning patient’s nursing care by using the nursing process
- List dosage, side effects - synergies of medicines, ways of medication administration, efficacy and toxicity of medication.
- Discuss the specific patient’s needs of preoperative and postoperative nursing care, stress management, basic principles of dietary therapy- patient hydration and apply the rules of dietary therapy and patient hydration
- Choose the provision of the appropriate nursing care for promoting the function of the urinary, digestive and musculoskeletal system
- Employ specific nursing care dexterities for the care of patients with endocrine diseases, with pathological and surgical diseases of the respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, bile, liver and pancreas, hematological diseases, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine and urinary tract diseases.

Course Contents | Clinical Practice II is completed by students in clinical areas with guidance and supervision by clinical instructors so as to comprehend and apply in real situations the theory they were taught in the module Basic Nursing II, Medical Nursing I and Surgical Nursing I, such as:
Nutrition and Hydration. Metabolism and nutrition. Water and electrolytes. Maintaining balance. Acid-base balance.
Stress management.
Medications.
Promoting the functioning of the urinary system.
Promoting the secretion of the digestive system.
Improving the functioning of the musculoskeletal system.
Nursing care of patients with endocrine diseases.
Nursing care of patients with pathological and surgical diseases of the respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, bile, liver and pancreas, hematological diseases, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine and urinary tract diseases.
Surgery and anesthesia, perioperative nursing.
Parenteral fluid therapy, nutritional support of patients with surgical problems.
