Course Contents |
Introduction to the presentation techniques: The architectural tools ie drawings/models 3Ds etc, and methods that are used to present a final project. Written part of the research/design: Investigate the written research essay that accompanies the final diploma drawings Power point presentations: The techniques of presentation of the design process Presentation of the composition process: Present the thought and research behind the composition processes and the relations of the process to the final product in presentation form . Perception of all parameters affecting the preparation of a study and its impact on the cost in time and the quality of the study: Requirements on time, co-ordination of the design/drawing process. | ||||||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods | The course is taught through lectures conducted through power point presentations and numerous examples that are presented and then analysed to identify good and bad techniques. Lectures notes and the presentations are available to the students in electronic form. Lectures are supplemented with recently graduated architects presentations, in order for the students to view the process and the final result, seeing in real life, potential problems that might have risen during the preparation of the thesis. | ||||||||
