· Project Report: Organization of the report structure. The structure,format and contents of a report. Report writing. Chapters. Contents of each chapter. References. · Data presentation: Graphs, figures, schematics, equations. · Presentation: Organisation and structure. Chapters and their contents. The use of bullet points, figures and graphs. Timing, speed, attention span, personal approach,good visual aids (PowerPoint), logical sequence, practice, answering questions. | ||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods |
Students are advised about the requirements of the course through lectures (1 hour per week) in classrooms. Students will be urged to decide upon a topic and find a project supervisor who will remain their supervisor throughout the duration of the senior project as well. Project topics will be available to students to choose from however, should any student have a specific topic that he would like to study, he is free to propose it to any member of staff with whom he would discuss further details. Students will be shown examples of previous successful projects, will be guided through the procedure for completing a project, will be given tips and be shown various tools for proper and efficient use of MS office programs | ||||
