Course Contents

Introduction to human resources:

In depth knowledge and understanding of human resources theories and principles. Description of methods of comparing alternatives, present value and internal rate of return. Description of principles and techniques for identifying economic trends.

Facility Management:

Theories and strategies in policies, procedures and forms of Facility Management.

Analysis of Facility Financial Forecasting and Management.

Management policies and frameworks:

Description and analysis of different management policies.

Knowledge and understanding of management policies and management frameworks.

Long-range and Annual Facility Planning.

    Planned learning activities and teaching methods

    The course is presented through formal theoretical lectures and tutorial sessions in class. Assignments are given to students on analysis and evaluation of business processes in real estate. The lectures present to the student the course content and also allow time for examples, questions and discussion. Notes are taken by the students in class during lectures.

    In addition, all of the course material are made available through the class website and also through the university’s own e-learning platform. The instructor is available to students during office hours, or by appointment, to provide necessary tutoring.
