Planned learning activities and teaching methods | It is the essential introduction to the questions that concern the form and the organization of city, through a historical point of view. The objective of the course is the students’ comprehension of the reasoning that is found behind the transformations of the city and the connection with the economic, social and political dimensions of the structured environment. The students comprehend the city as a field of conflicting ideas and interests and they perceive urban practice as their attempt to manage it. The course will study a short inventory of various theoretical approaches in the questions of urban interventions as imprints of development. The course will also study the mechanisms of development control of the city. | ||||||||
