  4. Collect, investigate and record information in order to handle issues for an effective professional workplace.

Course Contents

Introduction to the professional environment: The analysis of the meaning of professional workplace, according to whom is addressed.   

Structure of professional environment: Determination of parameters affecting the spatial development.

Operation of professional environment: The composition of a workplace and its business viability. Identification of functional aspects and coordination.

Identification of the specific needs of architectural workplace: The approach of architectural workplace through the theories of organisation and functional layout.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The organisation of professional space has a particular gravity in the quality of services that this space provides. As organisation, the course perceives the spaces and the human potential that staffs a working place and seeks to familiarize the students with the subjects, problems and difficulties, which concern the organisation of professional space of architect.

More specifically the course will deal with the requirements of professional space in working places, material and technical infrastructure, crewing of personnel, distribution of competences and specialties.

Visits in architectural offices and invitations of architects for relative presentations will constitute basic part of educational process. For the proposals of the organisation of the professional space students will propose one short designing work, which will supervise the instructive team.
