| Learning Outcomes of the course unit | By the end of the course, the students should be able to:- Analyze and evaluate research results and research approaches in the field of educational administration and leadership with a special emphasis on how effective school principalship is related to teaching and learning.
- Differentiate between the different types of school leadership (transactional, transformational, distributed) and recognize their differential influence on teaching and learning.
- Justify the role of school principals within the current societal, economical and educational context and realize potential factors inhibiting their effectiveness.
- Acquire strategies for creating and sustaining educational change and innovation.
- Demonstrate knowledge on how to manage interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution strategies, establishing effective school climate and effective educational management.
