to health education, definitions and aims. Contents of health education and
application areas. ·
Exercise and health: Research findings that support the relationship
between exercise and health. ·
Factors influence participation in Health, Exercise, Recreation programs
·
Theories that explain health behaviours (Social-cognitive theory, health
belief model, planned behaviour theory, life skills approach, stages of change
model). ·
The role of self-perceptions in motivation and physical activity behaviour. ·
The
role of family and social environment on children's education,
integration in areas of physical activity. ·
Managing stress through
exercise. ·
Models
and approaches, teaching strategies that promote healthy behaviours and the
importance of communication of healthy messages. ·
Ways to design, development

Planned learning activities and teaching methods | The teaching of the course consists of lectures for the theoretical background.
