Course Contents

This is the second of a series of two courses (AEEE595 and AEEE596). The main aim of the course is to promote a graduate/research culture among the students of the program. To complete the requirements of this course, students must attend a number of research or scientific events such as seminars, talks and conferences. To satisfy these requirements, the student must attend at least six talks or its equivalent. For the purpose of this course, one-day seminars count as two talks, while conferences count as two talks per day. Students may attend scientific talks in the context of their specialization, organized either by the department, or by other institutions or universities.

Students are expected to submit a logbook identifying each event with an extended abstract outlining the content of the event. Furthermore, they must submit a formal report on one of the events attended, with a detail description and a critical evaluation of the work presented.
