MBA 520: Investments and Portfolio Management
In this course we provide an overview of the investment environment, markets and financial institutions including the role of banks. We then focus on the decision to invest in stocks and other assets by explaining portfolio theory, the concept of diversification and equilibrium in capital markets. The course also explains fundamental analysis and methods for the valuation of stocks and bonds and provides an overview of other financial assets like forwards, futures, convertibles and swaps.
