Learning Outcomes of the course unit	By the end of the course, the students should be able to: Με τη συμπλήρωση της Πρακτικής Άσκησης, οι φοιτητές θα είναι ικανοί να: Eφαρμόζουν συνειδητά, επιλεγμένα μοντέλα μεθοδολογίας της συμβουλευτικής, ανάλογα με τα προβλήματα και τις ανάγκες που εξυπηρετούν. Χρησιμοποιούν τις κατάλληλες για κάθε περίπτωση τεχνικές και δεξιότητες, να τις τροποποιούν και να τις προσαρμόζουν κριτικά, ανάλογα με το πολιτισμικό περιβάλλον και τις ανάγκες των χρηστών. Εφαρμόζουν θεωρητικές έννοιες και πρακτικές που έχουν δοκιμαστεί εμπειρικά με επιτυχία. Εφαρμόσουν καλές πρακτικές στο πλαίσιο πρακτικής τους. Αναγνωρίζουν τη σημασία της συνεχιζόμενης επαγγελματικής εξέλιξης, της εποπτείας και της συμβουλευτικής στην οργάνωση. Εξοικειωθούν με βασικές δεξιότητες της Συμβουλευτικής και τις ιδιαιτερότητες και τεχνικές της συμβουλευτικής συνέντευξης. Αναπτύξουν κριτική σκέψη και να χρησιμοποιούν επιστημονικό συλλογισμό για την αξιολόγηση διαφορετικών προσεγγίσεων. Μπορούν να εφαρμόσουν τις αποκτημένες γνώσεις για αποτελεσματική Συμβουλευτική και Επαγγελματική καθοδήγηση.

Course Contents	- Innovations within the context of social entrepreneurship, ideas, opportunities and analysis of good practices in European countries - The social economy in the European countries, traditional institutions and the develop of social enterprises - The development and establishment of the philosophy and good practices that lead to the creation of productive social enterprises - Systematic evaluation of the success factors leading to the creation of business plans for a social enterprise  - Different models of social enterprises, like cooperatives or non-profit making – organisations - Creating a business plan, the preparation stage, commencement, operation, development and methods of achieving business goals - The nature of small enterprises and stages of adopting and managing innovations   - Development and aspects of operation of the model of social enterprises and social franchising - Activities reinforcing entrepreneurship among young people and women in contemporary social enterprises - The development of social control systems and evaluation of the effectiveness of social enterprises in society - Social sensitisation of: changes at the personal level of behaviour, saving money and finance, professional behaviour - Future prospects: reinforcing the potential of the social economy and entrepreneurship - major challenges - Public policies and future prospects related to the social economy and social enterprises

Planned learning activities and teaching methods	The major teaching methods to be implemented are the following: a). Direct dialogue: the lecturer, by using carefully selected and formulated questions, leads students towards a specific topic of knowledge. b). Brainstorming: the topic to be studied is presented to students and then they are requested to express freely their ideas and thoughts related to the specific topic. c). Group work: students are divided in groups, with the aim to exchange ideas and experiences related to a specific subject that they are studying. d). Role play: the scenario related to situations, at the professional or social level is presented to students. Students play roles, like actors, which aim to understand better the situation that is presented in the scenario.
