Course Contents | Analysis of educational concepts and theories: Teaching / learning assessment (on – going / final) feed back, learning outcomes, learning principals, knowledge, skills, attitudes. The participant in the learning process: Teacher-Head teachers-Children. Roles and responsibilities, counselling of learners and parents, interpersonal skills. The teaching in a multicultural and a multidisciplinary school environment. Characteristics of our society: The diversity of learners and the complexities of the learning process. The diverse needs and demands, the creation of an equal and fair climate conductive to learning for all learners, mixed ability groups. Programme evaluation: Classroom management, knowledge of the subject to be taught, evaluation of lessons, communication with groups and individuals. Analyse teaching situations, planning and applying lessons. Continuous professional development: Adjust teaching to specific educational needs, competence in a number of teaching-learning strategies assess learners’, achievement, evaluate their own performance. | ||||||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods | Attend the seminars taking place at the University. Visits to preschool classes and observe the teachers teaching various subjects matters, and discuss what they have observed with an advisor. Through observation and discussion, to acquire the necessary skills to prepare and criticize lessons that are delivered during the visits to nurseries. Involve in various assignments on educational matters. Involve individually or as members of a group in various assignments on educational matters. | ||||||||
