Obesity in Europeand in Cyprus.Principals of exercise for health and fitness. · Long and short term planning.Periods and procedures of planning. Unit plan and lesson plan. Planned learning activities and teaching methods | The structure of the class consists of lectures,class work, workshops and class discussions to provide the students with the fundamentaltheoretical and practical background. The unit plan and the lesson plan areanalyzed and discussed thoroughly. In addition, an anatomy of the typical Physical Education class is presented. Students’ and teachers’ perceptions and attitudes toward Physical Education are discussed, based on research findings. The criteria of learning and learning processes are highlighted. Videotaped classes are discussed for critical thinking. Studentsget the opportunity to teach mini lesson plans, in order to develop their firstpedagogical content knowledge and skills. | ||||||||||
