Christos Themistos (PhD) holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from City University, obtained in 1998 and 1992, respectively. He is currently a Professor and the Dean of School of Engineering at Frederick University. He lectures in Graduate and Post-Graduate Programs of Study and particularly at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics. He joined Frederick Institute of Technology in March 2000 and subsequently Frederick University in September 2007. His research interests involve the development and use of numerical approaches, such as the finite element method (FEM), for Photonic applications in the optical and the THz spectrum.
