Η Δρ. Αποστολία Ντοβόλη είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Επιστήμης Φυσικής Αγωγής και Αθλητισμού στο Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick στο γνωστικό αντικείμενο «Fitness Management», διδάσκοντας μαθήματα σχετικά με τη «Διοίκηση Αθλητισμού και Αναψυχής» και το «Αθλητικό Μάρκετινγκ». Η Δρ. Αποστολία Ντόβολη είναι Μεταδιδάκτορας στον κλάδο της «Διοίκησης Αθλητισμού και Αναψυχής» του Τμήματος Επιστήμης Φυσικής Αγωγής και Αθλητισμού του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Έχει επιτύχει ακαδημαϊκή αριστεία σε όλη τη διάρκεια της καριέρας της. Απέκτησε τα πτυχία BSc, MEd, MSc και PhD με υψηλή διάκριση από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, με εξειδίκευση στην Επιστήμη του Αθλητισμού, τη Φυσική Αγωγή και την Ποιότητα Ζωής, καθώς επίσης και στη Διοίκηση Αθλητισμού, Αναψυχής και Αθλητικού Τουρισμού και πιο συγκεκριμένα στην καταναλωτική συμπεριφορά στον αθλητισμό. Είναι, επίσης, Διδάσκουσα σε πολυάριθμα μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα (Frederick University, ΑΠΘ, Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο, Μητροπολιτικό Κολλέγιο) με υψηλές αξιολογήσεις φοιτητών και συντονιστών αρκετών θεματικών ενοτήτων. Επίσης, είναι μέλος του Εργαστηρίου Διοίκησης Αθλητισμού, Τουρισμού και Αναψυχής του Τ.Ε.Φ.Α.Α. – ΑΠΘ, έχει δημοσιεύσει άρθρα σε έγκριτα διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά, κεφάλαια και επιμέλειες βιβλίων, καθώς και σε πρακτικά συνεδρίων (εθνικών και διεθνών) και παράλληλα είναι Associate Editor και κριτής σε πολυάριθμα κορυφαία επιστημονικά περιοδικά του χώρου (π.χ. Leisure Sciences, Leisure Studies, Services Marketing Quarterly, Frontiers Public Health - Public Mental Health, Scientific Journal of Hellenic Scientific Society of Sports and Recreation Management, κ.α.). Επιπρόσθετα αποτελεί μέλος σημαντικών φορέων του χώρου της διοίκησης αθλητισμού και αναψυχής όπως τον Leisure Studies Association, UK και τον European Association of Sport Management, EU. Η Δρ. Ντοβόλη έχει παρουσιάσει εργασίες σε πολυάριθμα επιστημονικά, διεθνή και εθνικά, συνέδρια έχει προεδρεύσει σε ορισμένα εξ αυτών και έχει συμμετάσχει σε πλήθος χρηματοδοτούμενων ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων. Τέλος, υπήρξε τακτικό μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου των Εθνικών Αθλητικών Κέντρων Θεσσαλονίκης με αρμοδιότητα την αξιολόγηση της ποιότητας των αθλητικών υπηρεσιών καθώς επίσης και τη δημιουργία πλάνων διαχείρισης κινδύνων και εργάστηκε σε διοικητικές θέσεις σε ιδιωτικά γυμναστήρια, αθλητικούς συλλόγους, εκπαιδευτικούς αθλητικούς φορείς και αθλητικά μέσα.

Dr. Apostolia Dovoli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science at Frederick University, specializing in Fitness Management. She teaches courses related to Sport and Recreation Management and Sport Marketing. Dr. Apostolia Dovoli is also a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Sport and Recreation Management at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has demonstrated academic excellence throughout her career. She earned her BSc, MEd, MSc, and PhD degrees with high distinction from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Sport Science, Physical Education and Quality of Life, as well as in Sport, Recreation, and Sport Tourism Management, with a particular focus on consumer behavior in sport. She also teaches in numerous postgraduate programs (Frederick University, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Hellenic Open University, Metropolitan College), receiving high evaluations from students and coordinators across several thematic modules. Additionally, she is a member of the Laboratory of Sport, Tourism and Recreation Management at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science – AUTh. She has published articles in reputable international scientific journals, book chapters, edited volumes, and conference proceedings (national and international). At the same time, she serves as an Associate Editor and reviewer for numerous leading scientific journals in the field (e.g., Leisure Sciences, Leisure Studies, Services Marketing Quarterly, Frontiers in Public Health – Public Mental Health, Scientific Journal of the Hellenic Scientific Society of Sports and Recreation Management, among others). She is also a member of major professional associations in sport and recreation management, such as the Leisure Studies Association (UK) and the European Association of Sport Management (EU). Dr. Dovoli has presented her work at numerous international and national scientific conferences, has chaired sessions in several of them, and has participated in a wide range of funded research projects. Finally, she served as a regular member of the Board of Directors of the National Sports Centers of Thessaloniki, with responsibilities including the evaluation of the quality of sports services and the development of risk management plans. She has also worked in administrative positions in private fitness centers, sports clubs, educational sport organizations, and sports media.
