He is a Professor in the Democritus University of Thrace. Ο Δρ Τσαντόπουλος Γεώργιος αποτελεί Συνεργαζόμενο Εκπαιδευτικό Προσωπικό της Σχολής Επιστημών Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα "Κλιματική κρίση:Περιβαλλοντική Διαχείριση και Διακυβέρνηση". Είναι Καθηγητής στο Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο της Θράκης.
