Ms. Anna Papadopoulou

Dr Anna Papadopoulou is an independent researcher of architectural theory and urbanism, and is currently teaching as adjunct faculty at the University of Cyprus. Her research focuses on the intersectionalities of architecture and gender, and on methods of aligning sustainable practices to architectural education. Her work has been published as book chapters, in peer reviewed journals and in international conference proceedings. Since 2009, she has been teaching at an undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Nicosia and the University of Cyprus, and her teaching examines aspects of sustainable architecture, ecological urbanism, landscape architecture and environmental restoration. She has also instructed advanced architectural design studios, supervised numerous degree projects and instigated and instructed workshops on spatial design that advocates for gender and racial equality.
