The Career Fair has become a key initiative of Frederick University, effectively strengthening the connection between students, graduates, and the labor market through targeted actions and strategic collaborations.
This year’s event offered a comprehensive program of activities, giving participants the opportunity to explore career prospects, engage directly with employers, and gain insights into current trends and demands of the job market. At the same time, students took part in interactive workshops focused on developing practical skills, such as building a competitive CV, enhancing soft skills, and understanding developments in artificial intelligence and the future of work.
A particularly highlight of the event was the Inspirational Talks, where Frederick University alumni and professionals from various fields shared their personal journeys and experiences, inspiring students to set goals and confidently pursue their professional future.
“Our goal is to equip our students with the necessary tools to be ready for the job market. We continue to focus on building strong partnerships that ensure our study programmes remain up to date and aligned with real market needs,” said Ms. Andrea Athanasiou, Director of the Studies and Student Welfare Service.
“The success of the Career Fair reaffirmed that the University’s strategic objective to bridge the gap between academia and industry remains essential and highly relevant,” noted Ms. Toula Dimitropoulou, Head of the Career Office at Frederick University.
Participating companies expressed very positive feedback regarding the high calibre of Frederick University students, as well as the overall quality of the event. Students, in turn, highlighted their satisfaction with the networking opportunities and their direct interaction with representatives of the job market.
