Dr Konstantinos Tatas received his degree and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece in 1999 and 2005, respectively. He has been employed as a digital IC designer by INTRACOM SA between 2000 and 2002. He is currently Assistant Professor with the faculty of the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Informatics, School of Engineering, Frederick University, where he teaches undergraduate as well as graduate courses. He is also a Senior Researcher at Frederick Research Center, Cyprus. His research interests include computer architecture and embedded system design for IoT devices. His total published work includes a textbook, two book chapters and over fifty journals and conferences. Recognition for his work includes more that 300 citations with h-index: 11 and i10-index: 13 (source: Google Scholar). He has also participated in a number of Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation, Greek General Secretariat of Research and Technology and European IST-funded projects.
