We conduct a number of surveys throughout the year that are used to collect input regarding your satisfaction with University services and procedures. Apart from surveys, we also conduct focus groups during which we discuss, in small groups, your experiences as a Frederick University student.

Remember: we count on your feedback to create for you the best possible learning environment.

  • Surveys
    Once a year we conduct:
    - Overall Student Experience surveys
    - Service specific and/or needs surveys
    - Graduating Students surveys
  • Student Course Evaluation (IQC100) questionnaire
Every semester, students are asked to complete the Student Course Evaluation (IQC100) questionnaire. This questionnaire is completed anonymously through the Extranet Student Portal by each student, for each of their semester courses. It provides direct feedback to each instructor about a student's own experience in the course. The results are also analysed and included in the Program’s Self Evaluation Report and the Department’s Self Evaluation Report, which are submitted to the Internal Quality Committee of the University.
  • Focus Groups
We invite you to participate in:
    - Focus Groups for incoming students
    - Focus Groups for continuing students
    - Focus Groups for international students
Inclusion in Governance

We strongly believe in the inclusive representation of our student community in the operations of the University at various levels. Students participate in all academic and non-academic governance bodies through their elected student representatives.

The Student Union of Frederick University is governed by the Student Union Council whose members are elected among students. The Student Union together with the Studies and Student Welfare Service organise elections, at the beginning of each Fall semester, to elect the students’ representatives to the University’s Council, the Senate, the Schools’ Council and the Department’s Council.

The Studies and Student Welfare Service works closely with the Student Union and students’ representatives to make sure that the voice of all students is heard and that concerns are communicated to the right bodies, services and officials.
