Maria Aftzaki is a holder of a Doctorate of Education in Life-long learning (Univ. of Nottingham, UK) and has 23 years’ experience in teaching numerous Business-related subjects, including Marketing and Management as well as Research Methods in Education. She is also a holder of an MSc in Marketing (San Francisco, USA), a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and Marketing (London, U.K.) and a Postgraduate in Economics (London, U.K.). Apart from teaching, she has delivered many academic and operational managerial tasks in higher-level academic institutions and she has been a lecturer at Frederick University since 2015. Her research interests are in the area of learning approaches and formative assessment in Tertiary Education.
