Hosting the presentation of the Cyprus Poster Triennial on Monday, 15 December

On 15 December, Frederick University will host the presentation of the Cyprus Poster Triennial, an event that promotes knowledge and creativity in visual communication through poster design. The event is co-organized by our University and the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT). The Cyprus Poster Triennial was founded in 2019 by Savvas Xinaris, academic at Frederick University, Evripides Zantides and Omiros Panayides, academics at the Cyprus University of Technology. The initiative takes place every three years and is co-organised by the Department of Arts and Communication of Frederick University and the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology, with the support of the Cyprus Association of Graphic Designers and Illustrators (CAGDI).
On 15 December, the Cyprus Poster Triennial will be presented at Frederick University in an event that will include lectures and the presentation of the international open call for participation in the 3rd Cyprus Poster Triennial exhibition, scheduled for September–October 2026 at the Limassol Municipal Arts Centre - Apothikes Papadaki.
The event will begin at 18:30 with a welcome by the founders of the Cyprus Poster Triennial. This will be followed by presentations of the Triennial’s visual identity by its designers: Savvas Xinaris for the 2019 exhibition, graphic designer Myria Konnari for the 2022 exhibition, and graphic designer Filippos Vasileiadis for the upcoming 2026 exhibition. Subsequently, Artemis Eleftheriadou, Associate Professor in the Department of Arts and Communication at Frederick University and member of the Organising Committee, will present the international Open Call for participation in the 3rd Triennial.
