Frederick University participates in the 2nd Human Rights Forum

Frederick University will participate in the 2nd Human Rights Forum, entitled “Human Rights and the Rule of Law”, which will take place from 30 October to 1 November 2026 at the Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses.

The Forum is co-organized by the Postgraduate Program in European Law, a joint program of Frederick University and the Hellenic Open University, in collaboration with the University of the Peloponnese.

Members of Frederick University’s academic staff will take part in the Forum, contributing to the academic dialogue on contemporary issues relating to human rights, justice and the rule of law.

Specifically, Professor Panagiotis Degleris, Coordinator of the postgraduate program in European Law; Professor Christos Kliridis, Vice Dean of the School of Law and Business Administration; and Associate Professor Vasiliki Karagkouni, Chair of the Department of Law, will participate in thematic discussions and moderate Forum sessions.

The program will address, among other topics, justice and the rule of law, inequalities, gender-based violence and research methodology.

Frederick University’s participation reinforces its contribution to academic dialogue on the protection of human rights and the promotion of the rule of law.
