Scientific journal led by Dr. Paris A. Fokaides receives international recognition

The International Journal of Sustainable Energy, whose Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Paris A. Fokaides, Professor at the School of Engineering of Frederick University, has been ranked among the top 25% of scientific journals in its subject area.

According to the latest Scopus journal rankings, based on the CiteScore metrics, the International Journal of Sustainable Energy has been classified as a Q1 journal in the subject category Fluid Flow and Transfer Processes.

The Q1 category comprises the top 25% of scientific journals within a subject area, based on their relative performance according to Scopus metrics.

Specifically, in the Fluid Flow and Transfer Processes category, the journal is ranked 16th out of 99 journals, placing it in the 84th percentile. In addition, the journal has also been ranked Q2 in four other Scopus subject categories, further demonstrating its broad interdisciplinary impact in the field of sustainable energy.

The journal publishes high-quality research in the science and engineering of sustainable energy systems, covering topics including renewable energy, energy efficiency, emerging sustainable energy technologies, smart grids, energy policy, and energy applications in the built environment.
