Therefore, in addition to the support services we provide to our students during their studies, we offer induction activities before the beginning of the academic year to help make the transition from Secondary to Higher Education as smooth as possible.

Ι. Preparatory Program: 7 September – 2 October 2026

The Preparatory Program is provided at no cost to incoming students and includes:

- Refresh your knowledge: Free intensive courses such as English, Mathematics, Architectural Design, Physics and more, according to your program of study.
- Empower yourself: Workshops for the development of academic and other skills that will equip you with the tools needed for a smooth transition to the University.
- Recreational and sports activities: Opportunities to explore, connect, and enjoy yourself through fun and engaging activities.

The first day of the preparatory program is Monday, September 7, at both Frederick University in Nicosia and Limassol.

For first-year Architecture students, the preparatory program will begin on Monday, September 14.

II. First-year Students Orientation Day

All Fall 2026 new students are expected to attend the Orientation Day.

Limassol Campus: Wednesday, 30 September 2026
Nicosia Campus: Friday, 2 October 2026

During the Orientation Day, you will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members of your program of study and with Student Welfare Service representatives. In addition, on the same day, you will register for your Fall 2026 courses and gain access to your semester timetable.

III. Beginning of Fall 2026 semester

Fall 2026 classes begin on Monday, October 5, 2026. View the Academic Calendar 2026-27 here in order to find out the important semester dates and deadlines.
