Two Graduation Ceremonies and one Excellence Awards Ceremony

For this academic year, Frederick University will organize the following ceremonies:
• 1st Graduation Ceremony — June 22, 20:00, Limassol Municipal Garden Theatre
The first Graduation Ceremony will take place in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Dr. Nikodemos Damianou. During the ceremony, undergraduate and postgraduate students studying at Frederick University in Limassol will graduate from the School of Education and Social Sciences (both on-campus and distance learning programs), the School of Engineering, the School of Business and Law, the School of Arts, Communication and Cultural Studies, and the School of Health Sciences.
• Awards and Distinctions Ceremony — June 24, 19:00, THOC Theatre, Nicosia
During the 2025 Excellence Awards Ceremony, the top graduates of all undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2024–25 academic year, as well as the doctoral program graduates, will be honored. Additionally, the Michael Frederickou Awards will be presented, recognizing the ethics and excellence of members of the academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni of Frederick University. The Michael Frederickou Awards were established in 2021 in memory of the University’s founder. The ceremony will be addressed by the Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, Dr. Athena Michaelidou. The keynote speaker will be Professor Nikolaos Papaioannou, Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, responsible for higher education, and former Rector of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
• 2nd Graduation Ceremony — June 25, 20:00, Makarios III Amphitheatre, School for the Blind, Nicosia
The ceremony will take place in the presence of the Deputy Minister to the President, Ms. Irene Piki. During this ceremony, undergraduate and postgraduate students from the School of Education and Social Sciences, the School of Engineering, the School of Law and Business Administration, the School of Arts, Communication and Cultural Studies, and the School of Health Sciences studying at Frederick University in Nicosia will graduate.
At all ceremonies, addresses will be delivered by the President of the University Council, Ms. Natassa Frederickou, and the University’s Rector, Professor George Demosthenous.
All ceremonies will be streamed live on the University’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
