Presentation and display of images: "HUMANS/VILLE: City, Art, Humanity"
Frederick University's Department of Architecture and Department of Arts and Communication co-organize a unique presentation of images - a journey through photographs of cities around the world, on Wednesday, November 26, at 17:00.
Architecture, as a language that unites Humanity and Art, becomes the starting point for a dialogue between space, light, and human presence. Through these images, we discover how buildings tell stories, how streets acquire a soul, and how art comes alive in the everyday life of cities.
Speakers Professor Panos Leventis, architect and a faculty member of both Drury University and Frederick University, Professor Costas Mantzalos, visual artist and a faculty member of the Department of Arts and Communication, as well as ms Elena Parouti, architect and co-founder of Epi Tessera Architects, will share their thoughts on the above.
Professor Byron Ioannou, Head of the Department of Architecture, will facilitate the discussion.
The presentations will take place in the seminar hall on the 1st floor of the new university wing.
A cocktail reception will follow at the university cafeteria on the ground floor.
