Frederick University hosts a series of lectures with key speaker Professor Georgios Babiniotis

The Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth, in collaboration with Frederick University and the UNESCO Chair for Lifelong Learning and Adult Education at the University, organizes a series of lectures featuring the distinguished Professor Georgios Babiniotis.

The lecture series of the linguist, lexicographer, and Honorary Doctor of the School of Education and Social Sciences at Frederick University, Prof. Babiniotis, are aimed at educators of all levels and specialties, students of high schools and technical schools, as well as the general public.

Specifically, four lectures will be held at the facilities of Frederick University in Nicosia and Limassol. The first lecture will take place on September 14th at 19:00 at Frederick University in Limassol and will be open to the general public. The topic of the lecture is: "Speaking 'With Language About Language' in Poetry: Elytis, Dimoula, Montis." The Minister of Education, Sports, and Youth, Dr. Athena Michaelidou, and the Rector of Frederick University and Director of the UNESCO Chair for Lifelong Learning and Adult Education, Professor George Demosthenous will address the event.

More lectures for educators will take place on September 15th and 18th (at Frederick University in Nicosia and Limassol respectively) and for high school and technical school students on September 19th (at Frederick University in Limassol).
