Memorandum of Cooperation between Frederick University and Hippocrateio Hospital

With the initial goal of developing and providing nursing education programs as part of ongoing nursing education, Frederick University and the Hippocrateio Private Hospital signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The two parties will also collaborate for the mutual exchange of expertise, the organization and/or participation in scientific and other health-related events, and the planning and execution of research activities to improve health outcomes of the public.

The Memorandum was signed by the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at the University, Professor Maritza Gourni, and the Chief Financial Officer of the Hippocrateio Private Hospital, Mr Haris Papadopoulos.

The Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Professor Maritza Gourni, said: "We are particularly pleased with the collaboration with the Hippocrateio Private Hospital, which will offer many benefits to both parties. Among others, our School's students will have the opportunity to participate in nursing education programs, receive the relevant certification, and engage in clinical practice at the hospital."

The signing ceremony was also attended by Dr. Evanthia Asimakopoulou and Dr. Alexandros Argyriadis, members of the academic staff of the School of Health Sciences, Ms. Hero Kapsali, Human Resources Director, and Ms. Maria Stryga, Director of Nursing Services of the Hippocrateio Private Hospital.
